USFS urges regional approach to beetle problem

The Forest Service’s Rocky Mountain regional office is taking a regional approach to the beetle epidemic in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, the Casper Star-Tribune reported. Mountain pine beetles have infested about 660,000 acres in Colorado and 75,000 acres in Wyoming.
