Businesses back Dominguez conservation area

The Western Colorado Congress announced yesterday that 90 Western Slope businesses are backing a proposal to establish the Dominguez Canyon National Conservation Area, the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reported. The businesses that have signed on so far include a sandal company, real estate brokerage and a bagel shop.
