Mesa County releases energy plan

Mesa County released a draft of its master plan last week, but the plan is already being heavily criticized for not doing enough to protect the environment and public health. The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reported that many local residents want the county to adopt more stringent regulations than the state regarding the placement of well pads, pipelines, compressor stations and other development.
