Ritter calls for mitigating damage to Roan Plateau
Posted by egable on September 19th, 2007 filed in Energy development, Public landsIn the midst of Colorado’s 120-day review of the federal government’s plan to allow energy development on the top of the Roan Plateau, Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter (D) told environmental groups yesterday that the state should focus on mitigating the impacts of the development rather than preventing the federal government’s plans, the Denver Post reported.
