Report shows water quality declining

Colorado’s water quality declined by 21 percent in rivers and streams and 31 percent in lakes over the last eight years, according to a report released earlier this month by Environment Colorado. The report cited understaffing and underfunding at the Water Quality Control Division as the biggest challenge to protecting Colorado’s water resources.
