BLM pulls 60,000 acres from Nov. auction

The Bureau of Land Management said yesterday that it had deferred leasing a number of parcels in Grand and Jackson counties from its Nov. 8 oil and gas sale, citing a need to “conduct additional analysis and public outreach with local communities.” BLM will offer 135 parcels totaling 129,726 acres at the sale.
