Ranchers, enviros push for conservation area

Ranchers who hold grazing allotments in Roubideau Canyon want the area to gain permanent protection as a conservation area, allowing them to continue grazing but prohibiting energy development and off-road vehicle use, according to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.
