GOCO awards $57 million for preservation
Posted by egable on December 4th, 2007 filed in Land conservationState lottery-funded Great Outdoors Colorado announced yesterday that it has awarded $57 million to help preserve 138,000 acres statewide. Several of the projects receiving funds surround river corridors, including the South Platte, Fountain Creek and the Rio Grande. The $57 million provides additional funds to nine established projects and creates six new projects.
