Bill would let Colorado officials enforce federal ATV laws

The House will vote today on a bill that would give Colorado state wildlife officers the authority to give tickets to illegal off-roaders, the Durango Herald reports. Colorado has 22 million acres of public lands, but only 26 federal officers dedicated to law enforcement, according to Rep. Kathleen Curry (D).
