Enviros campaign for new wilderness areas

Carbondale-based Wilderness Workshop is leading an effort to protect hundreds of thousands of additional acres in Colorado as wilderness, according to the Vail Daily. The “Hidden Gems Wilderness Campaign” aims to designate roughly 700,000 acres in the White River and Gunnison national forests as wilderness.
