Spring arriving earlier

You wouldn’t know it from the 6-inch-thick sheet of ice on my driveway, but the Associated Press reports that spring is arriving earlier, thanks to climate change. Still, the signs of an earlier spring are everywhere in nature. As just one example, yellow-bellied marmots are emerging from hibernation in Colorado a month earlier than they used to.
