Creede asks EPA for help

When the Environmental Protection Agency first considered putting Creede on its Superfund list eight years ago, the community determined it would try to clean up the mess left by a century of mining on its own. But now, the town and EPA are working together to clean up a 100-year-old drainage tunnel, the Denver Post reports.
