Enviros petition Wildlife Commission to ban prairie dog shooting

The Colorado Wildlife Commission will consider a petition Thursday that would ban the shooting of live animals as targets. The petition by WildEarth Guardians is aimed at halting the indiscriminate shooting of prairie dogs. Audubon Colorado is also supporting the petition.
