Rio Blanco eyes charges for wells

Rio Blanco County is considering imposing per-well fees to help meet the rising infrastructure expenses brought by the energy boom, the Associated Press reports. If the county proceeds with the fees, they would be the first such fees ever imposed in Colorado.
