Ritter to sign forest bills

Gov. Bill Ritter (D) will signed several bills aimed at improving the health of Colorado’s forests into law on Wednesday, including legislation that would provide an income tax deduction for landowners who perform work on their property to reduce the risk of wildfires and another bill that would provide incentives for the sale of beetle-killed pine products.
