Allard expresses concerns about application of energy rules

Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) expressed concerns that the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission may be overstepping its boundaries by attempting to regulate energy development on federal and tribal lands. Allard requested that the federal agencies provide a “detailed explanation” of the measures they are taking to ensure that “federal jurisdiction and tribal sovereignty are adequately protected.”
