Colo. rancher seeks to return uranium milling to Paradox Valley

George Glasier, a former mining executive who now runs cattle in the Paradox Valley, wants to open a uranium mill on land near his cattle ranch, not far from toxic — mostly abandoned — uranium mines that date from the Cold War, but the plan has garnered opposition in the Four Corners, the Associated Press reports.
