Lisa Bracken, who lives south of Silt, says drilling activities in Garfield County are contaminating West Divide Creek again, but she hasn’t had much luck getting state or federal regulators or county commissioners to do anything about it besides investigate her claims, the Aspen Daily News reports.

The Garfield County commissioners have asked the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission for additional soil sampling near the site of the alleged gas seep, but they did not agree to groundwater sampling that Bracken requested, according to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent.
