BP seeks 80-acre spacing for CBM wells

BP America is seeking the state’s permission to allow coalbed methane wells at 80-acre spacing, cutting the current allowable distance in half, the Durango Herald reports. The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is expected to make a ruling on BP’s infill drilling proposal in October.
