FWS offers conditional support for whitewater park

Palisade has spent 30 months and $125,000 to design a whitewater park in the Colorado River, but the Fish and Wildlife Service wants to see a model of the park before it decides whether the park will harm four endangered species on that stretch of the river, the Aspen Times reports.
