Utilities seek to strike balance for Front Range, West Slope water users

Denver Water and the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District are “engaged in a first-of-its-kind negotiation” that aims to provide an additional 16 billion gallons of water to Front Range users while protecting mountain rivers and streams, the Denver Post reports.
