The Fish and Wildlife Service said Toronto-based Lexam Explorations’ plans for two exploratory natural gas wells on the Baca National Wildlife Refuge won’t significantly damage the environment, despite the presence of the Gunnison’s prairie dog, a candidate for listing under the Endangered Species Act, the Associated Press reports.
